Mission Statement

The US-China Green Institute fosters cooperation between the United States and China to address the global climate crisis. Our mission centers on building a strong, collaborative, and multilateral partnership to meet this urgent challenge. We concentrate on several key strategic areas:

• Establishing a Collaboration Framework: develop a platform for effective communication and exchange among interdisciplinary leaders from the policy, business, and research arenas, facilitating shared knowledge and spurring innovative solutions in climate action.
• Strengthening Technology Development Collaboration: bring together US and Chinese efforts in developing and deploying clean energy technologies to accelerate the shift to a low-carbon economy.
• Facilitating Critical Climate Projects: support and implement vital projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
• Establishing Multi-Dimensional Mechanisms for Development: set up incubators, accelerators, and investment vehicles to support the critical transformation of the clean economy and further technological development. This initiative is designed to catalyze growth and innovation in sustainable practices and technologies.
